What is a Body Liberation Session?

A Body Liberation Session is a guided, reflective experience designed to help you understand your body within the larger systems that shape your lived experience.

These sessions are not fitness workouts or movement-based training. Instead, they center education, awareness, and embodied practices that support healing and self-understanding. Together, we explore how systems of oppression such as racism, fatphobia, ableism, homophobia, transphobia, capitalism, and patriarchy show up across the intersections of your identity and how they impact your relationship with your body.

Sessions may include intersectionality-based reflection, nervous system support through breathwork, and compassionate tools for navigating body dysmorphia and body image distress. The work is collaborative, trauma-informed, and paced to honor your capacity and safety.

This space exists to help you name what was never yours to carry alone, reconnect with your body with greater clarity and care, and begin building a relationship rooted in agency rather than shame.
